New design for a popular classic

Damixa is relaunching the classic Jupiter tap series under the name Jupiter Trend. The popular Jupiter series for the bathroom and kitchen not only has a new design, but also improved features, for example, you can reduce your consumption of water by 25-30 percent.

The Danes have been crazy about the Jupiter tap series since it was launched 13 years ago. It has become a classic, which Damixa has now improved upon – both with regard to design and features.

‘Our philosophy is: ‘When design makes sense’. At Damixa we have equal focus on good design as well as functionality and high quality. Jupiter Trend fulfils all requirements for ensuring that everyone who uses the tap series has an enjoyable experience for many years to come,’ says Marketing & Brand Director Berit Linde Jessen from Damixa.

She states that the tap series has had a makeover in order to ensure that it will still be among the Danes’ favourite tap series. In the transformation Jupiter’s particular characteristics have been kept: The dimples on the handle make operating the tap extremely easy especially when one has wet hands.

Jupiter Trend has become even more minimalist than its predecessor; it is easy to use, easy to clean and saves water. The tap series has an innovative water saving function and a new system, whereby one cannot scald their hands, and the inner core has been developed further, so the tap has an even longer service life.

Saves water

Water is a scarce commodity throughout the world. Therefore with the new version of Jupiter the product developers at Damixa have also focused on it having an improved water saving function.

‘In many places in the home, for example in the bathroom, one can slightly reduce the consumption of water by 25 or 30 percent and have the same pleasant experience when taking a shower or when one washes their hands. Jupiter Trend is designed, so one can easily regulate how much water the fittings shall give,’ says Berit Linde Jessen.

An ordinary shower attachment fitting provides approximately 12 litres of water per minute. If a shower takes 5 minutes then one person uses 60 litres of water. By reducing the amount of water in the shower attachment by 25 percent, each person saves almost 5,500 litres of water a year (when showering every day). In a family of four that is 22,000 litres of water a year[1].

Jupiter Trend is a complete series, which consists of fittings for the kitchen, the washbasin in the bathroom, the shower head and the bath.
