Damixa presents Slate, its new range of taps, which focuses on an alternative design for the contemporary, minimalist home.
“Our Slate range fits perfectly into all those spaces where a tap is not just a tap, but a design statement in itself,” says Berit Linde Jessen, Marketing & Brand Directorat Damixa.
The Danish tap manufacturer has designed a stylish tap with a clean and slightly rustic appearance. The very clean lines contrast with the rounded spout and handle of the tap itself. The name Slate incorporates the slightly rustic feel and the tap’s black handle.
Black in interior design
“Black is a popular colour in contemporary interior design. Many customers want to incorporate black into their kitchen as a distinctive design feature. We feel that in the demand for our Arc range which is also available with black handles. This is why it is only natural that we provide more options by introducing the Slate range,” says Berit Linde Jessen.
The Slate range is intended for the international arena and it will be marketed globally by Damixa. An important prerequisite for its introduction has been that the Slate range should represent a stylish and different design at a price that is within reach for as many people as possible.
Multiple functions
Multiple functions are included in the Slate price. The Slate range includes the special X-change unit as standard – a unit invented by Damixa. The X-change unit makes it extremely easy to replace the tap at any point in the future. When the X-change unit has been installed, it is easy for any non-specialist to replace the Damixa unit in 20 seconds. All you need is an Allen key.
“Our tap units are durable and last for many years, but an increasing number of our customers want to change their taps after a while to achieve a new look. This concept is also attractive to hotels and other larger organisations which need to replace their taps on a regular basis,” explains Berit Linde Jessen.
The Slate range includes an anti-scalding function – to ensure that no fingers get burned – as well as a water-saving feature. The taps are easy to maintain as they can be descaled by simply running a finger under the rubber-coated air mixer.
A complete range
The Slate range has been designed for any space within the home. The range includes several models for the kitchen and bathroom as well as shower heads and thermostats for baths and showers.
